I am a long time AT2 player and love these games. AT4 has the potential to be awesome but is ruined by the AI. The AI is way too hard to beat even on easy. Their airlines grow at almost 50% faster rate than yours. Also, the AI needs to be adjusted with their names and their core city. For example Asian Air shouldnt have a core city in Barcelona. I also liked the option to set up new "hub" cities as in AT2. New additions like the "stop over" option is cool. More cities are great but may need to add more in other areas such as Mid-America. Adding a free play mode would be cool so that the game doesnt end at a specific year.

Add leasing planes to 50% of fleet. Also add more planes like saab Mitsubishi and Fairchild. Also add leasing planes after the 2000s. Also make a company takeover easier by changing it to 10% value of highest company.

This is more a question than a review although I love the game. Im curious to know with Airbus and Boeing releasing new aircrafts in the coming year is air tycoon going to update to bring in the new aircrafts

On Air Tycoon 2 you can lease as many planes as you want and this would always help me grow my airline tremendously. Now I cant and I have to spend so much money buying planes specially if they are wide body planes! Also let us play on free play mode so the game doesnt end after a certain amount of years. Other than that the game is great! The best one so far. Just try adding a few more cities in the Americas like In Mexico and Central America and South America and the Caribbean. Thank you!

I love this game me and my dad always play this game! I wish you could build a new airport in this game tho I mad Atlanta my hub and I ran out of slots so I couldnt fly out of there anymore!

Where has this app been all my life? Good business apps are tough to come by; having suffered through dozens on the app store, I should know. AT4 is one of the best airline sims Ive ever played on any platform, and probably the best Ive found on the app store. For fans of real business games, think Trevor Chans Capitalism 2, but just for airlines. You can just go with default settings or you can dive into details and optimize everything from seat spacing to in-flight meals. Graphics are very nice, there are more customization options than you can shake a stick at, it doesnt devolve into gimmickry or stupidity, and its business modeling is sound. The only odd part (not bad, just unconventional) is that its turn based and not realtime, but frankly, it makes the game that much better; you can pick it up and put it down as you like. Yes, it has an IAP option, but its really only as a money cheat code; if you can run a solid business, youll never need it. This game is a solid A+!

I want you to add more plane ok?

My planes always disappear without any causes. There is no accident but my plane just gone . Very disappointed with this app and the lack of update.

I play this game since version 1 and this is definitely the best game in AppStore. Ive spent countless hours on it. I thought the previous AT was already 10/10, but the version 4 is even better!

The online version was cool, but now the single game version is amazing. Been playing for hours since it came out. Love this game

Great game but where is Hotel Tycoon 3 and Cruise Tycoon 2? I like The Air Tycoon games but it seems like thats all that comes out anymore.

Its pretty lame sense there is no one playing it besides you. You can still by aircraft and open routes but air tycoon 3 was a lot more fun this app is not worth 3 bucks it should be free

Another terrible, unrealistic game with poorly constructed AI and absolutely no sense of realism. I understand simplicity is important but these massive international airlines that fly to only the worlds top 5 cities are just stupid. You would think that after 4 games they would have made positive changes to the series but its just disappointment after disappointment.

Looks horrible vs AT3

Make it so you can either design an airport you have bought, or be able to upgrade the airport with different airport looking styles

Ive been playing airline tycoon since the 4th and I cant thank the developers enough for this incredible latest version. It is very similar to the previous airline tycoon with elements of AT2, such as M&A. The animated airports are another cool addition that takes this game far and beyond. Havent learned everything as of yet, but I know Im going to spend hours even days playing AT4. Any fan of airline simulation will love this game, and at a great price!

Overall this is an excellent game to play. If you have played and are familiar with Air Tycoon Online 2, this game is not much different. There are only a couple things i have a problem with. Playability: 4.5/5, easy and intuitive interface but be prepared for lots of menus. Game is easy to pick up. Bugs/tech issues: 5/5, no significant issues or bugs; game has no crash history with current version. Graphics: 5/5, textures and sprites are at a good resolution without making the game heavy. Replay value: 4.5/5, no two matches are the same, but game can be repetitive for some individuals. Final score: 4.8/5

I want to like this game but find some major issues. After playing for at least 20 hours I find the computer can fly with planes that my passengers would scoff at. Computer planes with 5% satisfaction are making great money with 100% capacity while my planes drop off in ridership if my satisfaction rates drop just a little. While they offer so many plane customizations and food options it seems the computer goes for current no frills cattle car flying from 1960 forward and wins every time. Needs some major adjustments!
